Sir Brian May, founding member of Queen and PhD astronomer, is a passionate advocate for 3-D stereoscopic photography. Twenty years ago he acquired the London Stereoscopic Company (founded in 1850) to share his passion with the world. Since then, he has built it up to be the world’s foremost 3-D publishing house, selling hundreds of thousands of books, cards and viewers worldwide. In particular, he identified a unique role for 3-D in astronomy publishing and today publishes a range of titles showing the Universe as it actually is, in three glorious dimensions.
